Philips Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift, Reedsville in Reedsville, Pennsylvania

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Facilitate plant wide activities regarding receiving & calibration services of equipment and instruments.

  • Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.

  • Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.

  • Test and diagnose equipment.

  • Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required and perform equipment modifications as directed.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience required; Associate Degree in an Electrical\Electronics field is preferred.

  • Demonstrable proficiency in General PC operation and Microsoft Office Suite required.

  • Must have solid troubleshooting skills as candidate will receive minimal instruction on daily work, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision, determining best work procedures to complete assigned tasks without direction.

  • Must be able to work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Check the overall processes and adjust processes on the basis of observations. Assist in maintenance of both mechanical and electronic equipment. Give support in product and process renewal. Advise and coach co-workers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
