Philips Operational Material Management Site Leader in Reedsville, Pennsylvania


In this role, you have the opportunity to

To formulate and execute the commercial supply chain processes and to create, lead and coordinate initiatives and activities to achieve optimum integrated supply chain management within Philips

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

  • Drives delivery model and cross businesses customer demand fulfillment by ensuring material availability in the supply chain.

  • Leads tactical material and capacity planning in an optimized way

  • Accountable for operational planning and purchase order management

  • Defines master data strategy to enable touchless replenishment in an industrial environment

  • Establish the Inventory and define the Operational Material Management policy to meet the overall long term business targets of the delivery model

  • Initiates changes to material management concepts following the requirements of the customers to lead continuous improvements and standardization across the entire supply chain organization

  • Mitigate in case of supply risks and issues, including ownership of critical issues management

  • Build the staff of the department to safeguard efficient operational material management in the long term.

  • Formulates new OMM concepts in accordance with the ISC requirements and the extent to which improvement progress can be achieved across the entire supply chain

  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master Degree

  • +10 years of experience

  • Strategic mindset

  • Requires depth expertise of the functional area, business strategies, goals, and objectives.

  • Needs to integrate material management processes with industrial, development and procurement processes

  • High level of negotiating skills for optimal supplier performance management

  • Mobilizing others to initiate a culture of change and continuous improvement

  • Uses thoughtful networking and communication to overcome barriers leading to groundbreaking practices

  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.

  • Having the ability to look beyond the next tier

  • High complexity / High impact position,

  • Leads a significant number of department managers

  • A strong influence on Business magnitude:> € 100 M.
