As part of the Ultrasound and Transducer team, the Software Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing tools to improve production and equipment efficiency.
Additional responsibilities include:
Design and build the infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading of data from a variety of sources using technology such as SQL, AWS, and other programming tools
Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand company needs and devise possible solutions
Initiate and participate in projects in the area of prediction, optimization, and processes using advanced data extraction and analysis approaches, in the enterprise environment
Work closely with other data and analytics team members to optimize the company’s data systems and data reporting architectures
Design best architecture and select the most appropriate modeling techniques and data visualization for big data analysis
Create, validate, and document data analysis and reporting solutions per regulatory and internal guidelines and policies.
Build data and analytics tools that will offer deeper insight into ultrasound production, allowing for critical discoveries surrounding key performance indicators and customer activity
Serve as a local solutions expert by applying consultative problem-solving skills.
Remain current on competitive trends in the healthcare industry to anticipate and identify new business challenges and issues regarding the collection and analysis of big data.
Strives for continuous improvement, greater efficiency, and reporting across existing data systems.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline plus relevant tooling experience
At least 2 years of experience developing tools for supply chain solutions
Functional knowledge of SQL and ODBC
SAP experience preferred by not required
Analyzing and reviewing business, functional and technical requirements
Reporting project status as required
Lead cross-functional (project) team meetings and communicate effectively
Able to work cross functionally with peers, multi task and work in a fast paced environment
