Philips Key Account Manager - Sleep & Respiratory Care in Romania - Remote Based, Romania


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Implement and track the sales and marketing strategies of the Sleep & Respiratory Care Division in the Western half of Romania. You will be a key person in maximizing awareness of Philips technologies and products and successfully educating the market in this regard. You will develop and maintain the relationship with opinion leaders, ICU and pulmonology departments, sleep labs and distributors.

You are responsible for

  • Developing, maintaining and driving continuous improvement of the relations with existing and potential customers in the assigned area;

  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationship with distributor’s sales force. Train the distributor sales team according to the company rules and standards;

  • Initializing customer tailored sales actions and supporting sales actions;

  • Monitoring the quality of the realization of the actions, improvement of contact between the internal service and the customers to get a good result of the actions;

  • Ensuring the distributors are providing the required support for their end customers;

  • Identifying lack of product knowledge and key competencies as well in the designated customers and distributors and share it with the Clinical Sales Support;

  • Planning and organizing local workshops in the scope of marketing and promotion of our technologies and products according to the company rules and track the results;

  • Participating at local congresses, trade shows and exhibitions;

  • Understanding and communicating customer needs. Ensuring customer satisfaction. Interface with the rest of the territory organization and Marketing team in order to communicate and recommend specific market needs;

  • Collecting market and competition data in order to develop and supply complete market intelligence (incl. customer database) in order to identify market dynamics and keep management informed;

  • Implementing and tracking the sales & marketing strategies with the given concepts to achieve and maximize awareness of Philips technologies and products.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University degree (ideally in biomedical engineering/medicine);

  • Proven track record in a sales environment of minimum 3 years;

  • Relevant healthcare/pharmaceutical background, biomedical/medical devices;

  • Proven experience in the sleep & respiratory care field would preferred;

  • Outspoken communication, presentation, selling and effective negotiating skills;

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English;

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time;

  • Ability to work independently while interacting with all levels of the organization;

  • Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives;

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
