In this role, you have the opportunity to
As the Product Innovation Manager in Philips Tmall department, which is a new role set up for this strategic channel, you will be responsible for the Philips (consumer) products and portfolio innovation for Tmall channel specifically. This role will include developing, customizing and maintaining the product portfolio by bringing different level of new innovation into it and maximize business performance based on Tmall environment and its consumers’ behavior.
Drive C2B new product innovation and value proposition
Work together with data team and make consumer insight concrete from Tmall data (consumer profile and behavior, sales and AIPL related data…) and tools and drive into product solutions as answer with clear value proposition;
Able to clearly define and quantify the market size, source of business and addressable consumer base for each product idea and consumer insights behind;
-Co-working with marketing intelligence and EC and be responsible for product concepts and value proposition creation and validation. Be able to use TMall data and tools will be critical in both qualitative and quantitative validation phase;
Need to build long term product strategy and 3-5 years innovation roadmap for a certain category in Tmall channel (e.g. Philips shaver) based on marketing and consumer trend;
Working together with multiple functions to drive NPD (New Product Development) process and go-to-market
Need to drive the full process of value proposition and product development by working together with Marketing, E-commerce, innovation, design and supply;
Be responsible for product value proposition alignment with full E-Commerce team;
Working together with marketing on new product pricing strategy and go-to-market plan;
Customize the portfolio based on marketing, channel and consumer needs
Working together with marketing and Tmall team to optimize the current Tmall product portfolio by not only adding new innovation but also bring ideas of improving current products for better competitiveness;

Stakeholders: External: Tmall databank and TMIC 小二， Tmall industry 小二 , ISV; Internal: Marketing manager, Product Manger, E-TSM, Tmall Team members, (Innovation and Development, Design, Supply, Marketing research;)
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
5-8 years of experience in full stream marketing in FMCG or consumer electric devices;
Solid experience in consumer insight, NPD, portfolio development and management and digital marketing is a must, C2B innovation experience is a plus;
Quickly understand brand, category and market trend, business and changes, hands on knowledge - real time optimization direction with or without the help of agencies.
Familiar with consumer electronic device industry innovation, can be flexible and creative in realize different level of product innovation ideas;
Must be familiar with Tmall innovation and data tools: Data bank, Strategy center, Innovation center and etc.; Must be able to enable business ambition with the power of data;
Very sensitive to data with strong analysis capability, be able to dig out relevant consumer insights from it and translate to product ideas and innovation requirements;
Ability to network and collaborate across a matrix organization;
Self-motivation and strong paperwork and communication skills. A good team worker that can both manage peers and external agencies;
A team player who wants to win, work and celebrate with the team;
