Philips Assistant Manager Market Management in Shanghai, China


In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Build a high growth business that will help improve the lives of millions of people in China, while advancing Philips digital transformation journey as a global leader in Health Technology;

You are responsible for

  • Potential market & retailer development within traditional & new retail market. Such as mobile counter establishment.

  • To program and execute marketing plans after implementing market research of sales channels and network in responsible areas

  • To manage assigned area authorized distributors: break down annual sell-in target, discuss with area distributors to plan and achieve monthly sales forecast

  • To build up good relationship with distributors and retailers and to maintain good image of the company

  • To analyses sales potential of counters and outlets in the responsible area, set reasonable sales target and achieve it

  • To propose and implement effective promotions and counter attack competitors’ market activities after thorough analysis on sales data and market info.

  • To coach and train subordinates, to improve their work quality through effective assess on their performance and to build up a highly efficient team

  • To control resources strictly and to ensure healthy operation of F&A process through close monitoring

You are a part of

Regional Sales Team, You will report to Senior Manager Market Management and collaborate with Area Distributors & Retailers

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or above

  • At least 8 years domestic electronic industry or FMCG sales management experience.

  • Has solid new channel development experiences is preferred.

  • Potential market & retailer development within traditional & new retail market. Such as mobile counter establishment.

  • Be expert in dealer management, special for assist or urge dealer to accomplish the sales target and business growth

  • Excellent communication skills and team work spirit

  • Can work under high pressure and positively face challenge

  • Be familiar with word, excel, PPT, etc office software

  • Can speak English and fluency in written English and reading
