Philips Assistant Product Marketing Manager & Consultant, ICAP/AE in Shanghai, China


In this role, you have the opportunity to

be responsible for defining, launching and building profitable product solution and work directly with R&D and other marketing functions to ensure the products` F&B can meet the needs of the local customers. The Product Manager owns the product lifecycle from concept phase through development and launch and eventually, end of life. he is required to have deep expertise in market segmentation, product strategy, competitive strategy, and product development.

You are responsible for

  • ■ Develop and maintain the product strategy based on a clear customer segmentation to support the business development

  • ■ work directly with R&D and other marketing functions to ensure the products` F&B can meet the needs of the local customers.■ Set value-based price corridors and guidance for products■ Develop business cases for new products and services for consideration in the portfolio management process ■ Develop business requirements for new product and enhancements to existing products; work with R&D on functional specifications and feature/function prioritization ■ Conduct customer executive presentations, coordinated as part of sales campaigns with priority customers . Customer management.■ Develop and maintain strategic vision for product roadmap (for internal stakeholders and customers)

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 5+ years’ work experience, including 2+ years’ experience in medical industry (medical device, equipment etc.);

  • 3+ years’ marketing experience, or experience in related function (pre-sales, product manager, marketing);

  • Knowledgeable in Marketing, and good command of IT knowledge;

  • Creative & open minded;

  • Leadership & teamwork;

  • Very good communication skill and influential capability;

  • Good command English in writing and speaking;

  • Bachelor degree or above; clinical background preferred
