Enable Philips’ business growth with delivering a world-class brand strategy, brand positioning, identity and differentiated experience to win hearts and minds of customers and consumers. You will create brand content and sponsorship strategy to build heath-tech brand perception, and drive brand visibility by advising on the right level of brand investment levels.
Develop and deploy brand positioning, strategy and brand experience guidelines (incl naming guidelines and touchpoint specifications) to increase Philips brand awareness and win the market place.
Lead projects and processes to develop, operate and measure reinforcement of the Philips image.
Analyze in collaboration with CoE insights & analytics the development of the brand strength and business impact of current strategy and highlights areas for improvement
Define in collaboration with the Head of Marketing in Markets and Clusters the overall health-tech brand activities that support the full continuum (and therefore do not sit in a cluster) required to land in the 24 month planning
Develop brand stories/campaigns leveraging the production capabilities residing in the Clusters
Lead the creative agency management based on briefs from the Head of Marketing in Clusters through the annual review process of the global creative agency landscape in collaboration with Procurement. Responsible for roster updates and driving active supplier performance
Co-develop and deploy category positioning, brand experience playbooks with Head of Marketing PH and Head of Marketing HS and to ensure consistency with brand positioning and identity
Active engagement and key point of contact for Head of Brand in Philips Design to ensure in close collaboration, that all touchpoints (both communications and propositions) are on brand
Third party brand-related relationships and support
Define and execute global sponsorship strategy
Partner to M&A, Alliance & Strategy to develop and deploy acquisition and 3rd party branding guidelines
Brand contact for Clusters, Markets, Philips Design and other key senior stakeholders (such as EXCO)
Key subject matter expert in brand and creative process
Enable brand excellence and govern brand activities across Cluster, markets and brand licensing
Provide regular consolidated feedback on brand and creative process to the BPO team to ensure continuous process optimization
You are part of the Public Affairs team. You will base in Shanghai, report to Head of Public Affairs.
You will lead a team of brand manager and content manager.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
University degree or above in communications, branding or journalism
Minimum 15 years’ experience in corporate branding, either in-house or first-class international PR agencies
Demonstrate excellent communication skills with senior-level stakeholders
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with effectively prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a complex global organization
Demonstrate creative and innovative thinking
Ability to work under pressure in a fast changing environment
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong commitment to a highly-ethical organization
