In this role, you have the opportunity to
Manages the R&D and implementation process of products and services. Monitors development from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Assesses emerging technologies and may determine how to map them into product development roadmaps. Keeps abreast of technical developments through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition. Ensures compliance with product lifecycle and development procedures and processes as well as all applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
You are responsible for
The Personal Health(PH) China Innovation Council where all global and local for local(LFL) are planned per business/market combination for rolling 24 months
The LFL vision and strategy: steering the group to add maximum value to the Personal Health China business in the future
Co-responsible for achieving Personal Health annual operation plan and strategic planning of record plans from innovation perspective
Strategize, execute and establish the customer to business best practice and share with Philips global community
Securing the LFL budget from Business and China cost object.
Sales from LFL business cases
The capabilities, tools, processes and resourcing of LFL team and the functions it co-operates with incl. performance appraisals, education and training, and management development policy.
Ensuring the optimal allocation of personnel to the projects and effective project management to ensure local relevance, speed and low cost
Establishing a network with relevant players; Global innovation leaders, global business group business leaders
Innovation partner for Mega Accounts in China like Alibaba and JD

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Ability to drive decision cross functional and/or virtual teams
Coommunication and conflict solving skills
Coaching/servant Leadership and Know- how of R&D innovation practices
Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent and 10+ years management experience
Able to cooperate in a global matrix organization / multi -site matrixed environment
Able to influence activities outside R&D scope e.g. finance, marketing, operation, service
Expert knowledge of product development for consumer propositions Be able to translate consumer requirement to busines
Strong leadership and experience in working in a sizable complicated martix ogrnizaiton.
A good descision maker, able to make tough call and understand how to priortize and set up clear direction and path
Business acumen and commercial oriented
Business proficiency in English
