Philips Commercial Controller, PH in Shanghai, China


In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Enable E-Commence channel growth in PH(Personal Healthcare) business

  • support long term sales channel strategic planning and modeling

  • drive channel sales analytics and operation excellence to facilitate data-driven decision-making

You are responsible for

  • Support long range plans and models based on strategic initiatives, market research, and commercial data; sales planning / forecasting, including SPOR(3-5years), AOP, ROFO, including sales and enablers

  • Perform channel (primarily E-Commence) focused sales analytics (pre and post), including channel return on investment and generate insights to enable business growth

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on sales operation process and work closely with multiple internal supporting functions including COP, Finance, CP and IT team

  • Drive investment planning / budget process and compliance and continuously improve effectiveness

  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement to meet business requirement

  • Define and drive strategic and operational initiatives via data analyses, modelling of proposed operational programs and business cases to assess return and associated risks, and develop recommended action.

  • Ad-hoc sales data analytics.

You are a part of

Philips GC Personal Healthcare(PH) team, report to Finance BP&Operation Leader, GC PH,based at Shanghai.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; preferably finance, sales analyst background from E-commerce or FMCG companies;

  • Strong confidence and ownership

  • 8+ years working experience with financial management, strong analytical skills and rich experiences in commercial operations, E-Commence is a plus

  • Mind-set to drive continuous improvement

  • Strong team leadership and influence skills

  • Deliver results through leadership and working collaboratively

  • Fluent in English

  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, ERP (SAP preferred) and PowerPoint, familiar with business procedures in China, basic tax knowledge

  • Good communication skills in both Chinese and English, oral and written;
