In this role, you have the opportunity to
Implement the Commercial Pricing in Greater, integrate different operation process in each business and steer the execution to improve pricing and profit;
Review the pricing strategy implementation by the Sector and initiates corrective action where required. Review together with CMO the business developments at product level and decide together the pricing impact of necessary strategy changes.
You are responsible for
A linking pin between the Sales, Marketing and finance teams driving pricing & distribution optimization while always acting with integrity as a custodian of Commercial Policy.
Coordinate price and line chart updates internally and with customers as part of Market Introduction Process / (target) Price reviews
Ensure price quotes and contracts are negotiated within the Commercial Policy guidelines.
Ensure price terms and customer investments reflect resp. customer counter performance and strategic fit.
Ensure proper functioning of the minimum price escalation process.
Analyze pricing KPIs and act as a consultant towards sales, marketing and finance to drive continuous pricing and profitability performance improvements

As Director you are a part of Commercial Operation and Planning Team. On a daily basis you are working closely with colleagues in sales, Marketing, and Finance Organizations. You report directly to the Head of Commercial Operation and Planning based in Shanghai. At the same time you are part of the Global Pricing professionals across the globe. The Pricing team located in Shanghai and Beijing
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
At least 10 years of experience in functional pricing management positions and a Bachelor’s degree;
Working experience with commercial pricing, financial control, , management reporting and business analysis;
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at different levels in matrix organization;
Attention for details, analytical skills;
