Philips Consumer Marketing Manager, Air Purifier in Shanghai, China

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Build a high growth business that will help improve the lives of millions of people in China, while advancing Philips digital transformation journey as a global leader in Health Technology;

You are responsible for

  • Defines marketing innovation strategy in BMC plan.

  • Own category roadmap, co-work with BG for G4L innovations, co-work with innovation center for L4L, and co-work with BCC for C2B.

  • Make sure leading innovations in the market and deliver higher PI and profit in a rightful pricing and FCP. Translate the consumer needs/insight to VPC and specification. Guide MM and Marcom for best appropriate communication strategy suitable for the VPC.

  • Ensure new innovation business case realization, both sales and P&L.

  • Close track industry trend and competition new launches, to find out new opportunity or threat. Guide roadmap development.

  • Work with Marcom, MM, to deliver relevant campaigns and sell out activations, including big deal model, or gift box development to support local activation.

  • Work with MM to implement product portfolio realization, including PIPO, sku# management.

You are a part of

This position reports to Air BMC Lead, responsible for total Air innovation (purifiers, hydro, NVS, etc.), including innovation strategy in BMC plan, roadmap co-work with BG, L4L innovation co-work with China innovation center, C2B co-work with BCC, portfolio management, phase in phase out, sku# management. This position cooperate with BG, innovation center, CMI, marketing managers, activation managers, BCC, etc. and external agencies.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree. Major in marketing, innovation background preferred.

  • Experience: experience of marketing innovation management, roadmap and portfolio planning, category strategy and execution, VPC and product specification development, product launch, cross work with upstream and sales, R&D, finance.

  • Competency and skills:

  • Quick learning and willingness to explore, review, improve.

  • Teamwork spirit, respect matrix team members. Challenge in a constructive way to always strive for improvements.

  • Good at consumer insight, VPC development, strategic planning etc.

  • Master in understanding and expression, to make sure understand target audience, customers, and management teams.

  • Fluent English & Mandarin
