Philips Customer Service Marketing Director in Shanghai, China


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Drive the E2E marketing, develop the marketing strategy and structured marketing capability building for Health Systems Customer Services Business, Philips Greater China. You will be responsible for the brand experience across all touchpoints, by development and localization of the winning campaigns for the service portfolio.

You are responsible for

  • Integrated marketing planning across all business market combinations in the market

  • Brand, communication and digital activities to enable E2E activation of the customer service business marketing plans across BUs in Greater China market

  • Demand generation in the market

  • Strategy:

  • Responsible for translation of the market strategies and aggregated business market combinations into the marketing long-term (18 months) and short term (next quarter) plans.

  • Responsible for the E2E marketing for Greater China, acting as an advisor to the Market Leader, and building marketing thought leadership and marketing capabilities in the market

  • Brand:

  • Owns brand experience (strategy and governance) across all touch points of the customer decision journey.

  • Acts as a brand custodian, owning brand vision and strategy to drive customer brand preference in the markets.

  • Marketing Intelligence:

  • Customer segmentation and customer satisfaction

  • Product and Campaigns Launches:

  • Orchestrates the business market combination process and secures business market combination targets in conjunction with the market business marketing managers (across all business market combination for the overall product portfolio in the market)

  • Champions the voice of the customer and manages a holistic customer experience in the market across the product portfolio

  • Develop clinical & account-based segmentation and drives prioritized programs to generate leads, increase win-rate and improve customer satisfaction in the market

  • Responsible for defining and implementing pricing strategies, policies and processes that maximize financial objectives as well as optimizing competitive position in the marketing place.

  • Drives successful launch for new products/services/solutions in the market by localizing content and activating ecosystem

  • Capability development:

  • Build marketing thought leadership for business groups (across BUs), marketing competencies and capabilities across the organization (together with the marketing excellence team)

  • Build excellent marketing organization based on high-performing talents and innovation

You are a part of

Customer Service business team of Health Systems, Philips Greater China.

You will base in Shanghai, report to Head of Customer Service Business.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum 15 years of marketing experience in MNC, highly preferable in service business

  • Solid experience in brand management, new product launches and campaign management

  • Proven solid leadership experiences in a matrixed organization, managing internal stakeholders and agenda management

  • Extensive experience leading global, cross-functional virtual teams in a non-hierarchical environment

  • Evidence of ability to track, measure marketing ROI and brand metrics

  • Fluent in English and native in Mandarin
