Philips H&W Greater China Digital Content & Project Manager in Shanghai, China

Responsibilities

  • Develop unique, inspiring content that engages and aspires our Chinese mobile Apps users

  • Research and develop localised content for our Chinese audience

  • Research and execute new content strategies by leveraging competitive analysis, analytics, and user testing.

  • Develope asset types including blogs, social media copy, localised content, surveys, email and banner copy etc.

  • Manage content lifecycle workflow for assigned content types from creation through approvals, editing, localisation, publishing/activation, measurement, curation, and maintenance.

  • Provide and report on content measurement using a combination of analytic tools, marketing automation, content management systems, and social media management tools.

  • Make recommendations for optimizing content quality, processes, and activation channel choices based on analysis.

  • Make recommendations for optimizing content based on user engagement and MAUs, per territory

  • Document functional processes and enhancements to systems

  • Create and manage project plans and schedules.

  • Communicate with internal and external teams, markets, and sponsors regarding project deliverables and details.

  • Collaborate with the Sales organisation, social media manager on strategy and content and activation plans

  • Collaborate with graphic team to create asset visuals locally where needed

  • Contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives with keyword prioritization (Indexing)

  • Manage all stages of localization projects, monitoring workflow.

  • Follow up on quotes to maximise potential business and track reasons for refused quotes

  • Book freelance translators, selecting the most suitable translator for each project and negotiating the best rates

  • Communicate clear and specific instructions to translators and keep them accountable for quality and punctual delivery

  • Deliver translations in accordance with agreed deadlines and in the appropriate format

Experience, Skills and Attributes:

  • 8+ years of marketing/product marketing experience in hi-tech or mobile internet companies

  • 3-4 years of experience producing online content and promotion

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations, advertising (or other related field).

  • High-level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

  • Ability to link content to local markets and goals

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in content management systems and utilize web publishing and content management systems to inventory and measure success rates to optimize.

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research and Web analytics tools.

  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, including the ability to write in different styles, territories, and for different audience types and goals

  • Proven ability to raise brand awareness by growing social followers.

  • Process-driven individual who relies on data to make important decisions.

  • Passion for continuously optimizing for engagement and delivering measurable results.

  • Previous experience in translation project management

  • Solid experience of CAT tools, including preparing files, packages and projects as well as creating and maintaining memories

  • Adept at working under pressure

  • Highly organised

  • Good communication skills and fluent English

  • Preferably has good understanding of 2-3 other languages in addition to English (French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe and other efficiency tools

We are looking for a full-time in-house Online Content Manager who will own content creation and production as well as be the project Manager for Digital content and solutions for Chinese Consumers and Health Care professionals.
