Philips IT Business Analyst in Shanghai, China

  • Wide knowledge in ERP application, business model/processes as well as good IT projects management skills. Proven experience in implementation of various ERP modules, application system migration and IT project delivery

  • Document and analyze business requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, create and design functional specifications, gather and translate functional requirements into technical design documents, evaluate the system functionality and propose system enhancements to achieve optimum system performance and to streamline processes.

  • Drive user acceptance testing independently to ensure design and development quality; Ensure system issues are addressed and resolved on time and efficiently, Prepare user training documentation, and evaluate training effort and implementation as appropriate.

  • Perform as liaison between business users, functional teams and IT teams on project delivery or business engagement, be responsible for the communication and coordination with all associated parties; Design specifications based on change requirement, co-work with IT consultants to develop, configure and implement the solution to meet business needs.

  • Provide application support, in co-operation and co-ordination with the customer organisations, other service teams and back office teams; Response and requirements follow-up of request, Provide functional analysis of business requirements, Providing structural solutions, Provide ad-hoc workarounds or structural corrections for functional system; Attend to and implement change requests; Take part in improvement and project assignments; Improve (Customer) Business Processes;Improve Customer Satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

1) SAP APO/PP/MM trained or certified

2) IT or business management degree at university level

3) Minimum 3 years of SAP experience

4) Good command of both English and Chinese

In this role, you have the opportunity to

The aim of this role is to co-partner with business to improve the Business Processes of the Philips sectors. This improvement comes in three forms: Support, business improvement and project implementations.

You are responsible for

  • Provide application support to the Greater China sites, in co-operation and co-ordination with the customer organizations, other service teams and back office teams; these include:

  • Response and requirements follow-up of request

  • Provide functional analysis of business requirements

  • Providing structural solutions

  • Attending to customer queries through the PBAS APAC helpdesk system;

  • Provide ad-hoc workarounds or structural corrections for functional system;

  • Attend to and implement change requests;

  • Take part in improvement and project assignments;

  • Improve Service Quality;

  • Improve (Customer) Business Processes;

  • Improve Customer Satisfaction.

  • Actively participate in internal improvement initiatives

  • Mitigate the impact of Incidents in the IT Environment

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

1) Demonstrated capability and system implementation experience in either one of SAP modules: CS/SCM/PP/FICO etc.

2) IT or business management degree at university level
