Drives the demand side of market geared to optimize total costs by ensuring the best possible solution for Philips in Greater China Market. Mainly Responsible for procurement management of commodity cluster Marketing, Media and Events (MME) in Greater China (GC) Market, the commodities such as media, translations, design services delivery, business & market intelligence and etc.
You are responsible for
Be a part of the PH and HS extended leadership team to understand the marketing plans and compliment the same with Procurement plans.
Enable actions to help business to manage their A&P spend in the most effective and competent manner.
Interact internally and externally with Events, Sponsorship and design marketing executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters.
Responsible for the definition and implementation of the procurement strategy and policy with a 3-5 year sight line.
Ensure integration and alignment of procurement strategy and policy with the organizations business plan.
Manage local procurement specialists executing the global and local plans.
Approve on business review meetings and supplier evaluations for the assigned scope.
Develop key strategic supplier partnerships within the assigned scope and lead efforts in the areas of supplier management relationship building, audit and problem solving.
Ensures that all Procurement related risks are controlled and mitigated.
Manage suppliers base reduction and optimization.
Define strategy for specific, critical or complex commodities
Create policies to ensure transparency of the supplier portfolio and other processes.

Indirect Materials and Services is part of Philips Procurement managing the indirect spend for Philips as a total via matrixed organization (a Commodity Cluster on the vertical axe and a Market Procurement set up on the horizontal axe, covering all Philips Markets globally). To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master degree in a relevant discipline (eg. MBA, Marketing, Supply Management)
Prefer to 5 years of relevant working experience in a large multinational company.
At least 6 years Procurement experience.
Be potential to develop in other commodity areas within the indirect and direct Procurement fields.
Proven track in managing general Indirect Materials spend within a global scope.
Soft skills like people management, excellent communication skills, managing virtual, multi-cultural teams, leading change.
Commercial skills like negotiating or subcontract management.
Ability to continually innovate and improve the way of working within the assigned scope to meet the changing needs of the business and customers.
