In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Work with the best supply base of Vacuum cleaners and Air purifiers in the world.

  • Provide AOP savings through cost down projects and new product introduction projects.

  • Be a key partner in significant product cost reduction activities, in early phase innovation or in the manufacturing phase.

  • Contribute to developing the cost engineering function.

You are responsible for

  • Ensures that optimized TCO (cost, quality, availability) are assured in product and business creation and through their full life cycle, utilizing DFX.

  • Drives the sourcing plan, leading supplier selection and ensuring adherence to the Business Procurement strategy.

  • Drives early supplier involvement and identifies cost drivers to influence design decision making and achieve target costing.

  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality in the new supplier/component release process, including compliance and sustainability aspects.

  • Support price negotiations with opportunities to drive short and long term cost reduction improvement.

  • Cost down projects and new product introduction projects executed for assigned product portfolio.

  • Addressing problems with unique and/or cross functional implication.

  • Evaluate supplier manufacturing systems and processes and subsequent data collected for the purpose of analysis.

  • Maintain updates to the costs for assigned product/module and ensure that cost models are up to date and information is available as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a high volume assembly-type industry in supply chain related functions or related financial controlling functions.

  • Ability to think analytically and work independently, anticipates changing business, project and supplier needs.

  • Motivated, self-driven with a determination to succeed and the ability to manage change.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management.

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skill.
