Philips Product Development Engineer (Mechanical) in Shanghai, China

  1. Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, master degree or above.

  2. The candidate should have experience in mechanical design. at least 5 years

  3. Know DFSS product develop process, Green belt and Black belt is prefer

  4. Architecture design experience

  5. Analytical problem solving skills

  6. Ability to question the way we do things in order to find a better way.

  7. Proficient in Pro-e 3D CAD software, Can use Pro-e simulation is a plus.

  8. Fluent (spoken & written) in English & Chinese (Mandarin)

  9. Team player, good interaction skills

  10. High level of drive and an open-minded personality

  11. Customer oriented attitude

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop and validate new product of Mother and child care products, focusing on mechancial development.

Your responsibilities

  • Working together with PRC and marketing, to find the new solution to meet customers’ requirement.

  • Communicating with PM , to finish the development activities on schedule

  • Responsible for make the prototype in high quality with supplier

  • Align with Quality department to security the high quality design

You are a part of

  • A professional and energetic R&D team, around 10 Team members in Shanghai Office

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Education: Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, Major in Mechanical Engineering, is preferred. Working

  • Experiences: At least 5 yrs. experience in mechanical design and development, Architecture design experience is preferred; experience in DFSS product develop process, Green belt and Black belt is preferred.

  • Competencies and skills:

  • Ability to question the way we do things in order to find a better way.
