Philips Senior Brand Manager in Shanghai, China


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Cooperate with global branding team, BG marketing team as well as local BCD team to broadcast Philips’ branding. Develops and deploys brand management strategies and tools to increase Philips brand awarness and win in the marketplace. Leads projects and processes to develop, operate and measure reinforcement of the Philips image.

You are responsible for

  • Develop B2B branding strategy and annual plan to support the company strategy and business success

  • Develop brand campaigns concept and lead digital, PR, internal communications and event team to implement integrated communications plan and to engage internal and external stakeholders

  • Work in close relations with BG marketing teams to develop key messages and high quality content such as customer story, graphic, animation, audio-visual, etc.

  • Develop and execute media buying strategy incl. traditional, digital/social media to maximize reach and increase ROI on media spending

  • Select and guide agencies to create branding video, advertisement motif, corporate brochure and other brand assets

  • Analyze industry trending issues and track competitors’ communication activities, identifying key differentiators to support branding strategy and implementation effectively

  • Work with global brand and communications team on annual brand survey to evaluate brand performance and make action plan

  • Budget planning and management

  • Provide functional teams and agencies with trainings, consultancy and governance to ensure all communication materials in accordance with corporate brand guideline

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University degree or above in the field of communications, branding and/or journalism with 8-10 years of related experience in positions of branding and communications

  • Experience working in multinational brand communications either in-house or first-class international PR agencies

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest-quality output

  • Demonstrate creative and innovative thinking

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with senior-level stakeholders

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with effectively prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines

  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a complex global organization

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast changing environment

  • Strong commitment to a highly-ethical organization

  • Independent & self-motivated
