As a Senior Consumer Marketing Manager your goal is to bring ever-more rewarding and enjoyable experiences to consumers by meeting their healthy living and prevention needs via products and services. You will need to demonstrate a combined expertise of consumer insights & trends and technology affinity. You will translate in-depth consumer, market and competitive analyses into winning concepts, whether product or service, tailor made for to address the needs of global consumers, leveraging the knowledge and expertise of Philips through multi-functional, multi-site teams.
You are responsible for
Develop the product value proposition based on consumer and customer insight
Steer the integral product development process from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction, including communication.
Define and lead the product portfolio (and roadmap) with the business leads, R&D team, Marcom, markets or regions
Manage the product positioning, pricing, which should contribute to optimized sales value, product mix and volume to deliver the agreed financial target
Define and Develop (new) business models, to drive portfolio growth to specific targets
Work with the central marketing team and markets to develop and execute Marcom tool kit
You are a part of
A dedicated group of Consumer Marketing Managers
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record, preferably an MBA
At least 6 years of experience in an international business environment in the field of consumer marketing or product management
Experience with product development and product launches
Experience with translating market research and shopper insights into product concepts and new propositions.
Proven track record with global consumer/retail brands with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse markets.
Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Ability to think creatively and pragmatically.
Excellent project management skills and broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.
Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
Solid spoken and written English skills
