In this role, you have the opportunity to
Design solution architect with Philips system, software and service, determine the solution selection, analyze business capability, support activities related to professional service delivery, portfolio management and manage architecture risk to support Philips’ transformation and professional business growth.
You are responsible for
Serve as the technical resource for implementing solutions that require analysis of situations or data, and an in-depth knowledge of the solution.
Prepare site assessments.
Provide technical review of system configurations to ensure viability of system performance.
Prepare as-built drawings to document work completed during project or particular job.
Resolve complex customer issues requiring independent judgment based on strong IT knowledge and skills.
Provide remote and on-site technical support to installed customer base.
Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the Philips solution.
Escalate any technical configuration that is not consistent with technical standards.
Demonstrate skills of an IT professional with an in-depth understanding of the Philips' products, IT industry practices and company policies and procedures.
Delivers customer projects that requiring analysis of situations and full understanding of the solution being implemented.
Exercise independent judgment to adapt to typical variances in the customer environment for obtaining effective results.
Properly complete assigned project activities with responsibility for results within project work estimates and defined delivery methods
Provide regular status of installation activities to project manager, other team members, and functional manager.
Collaborate with Philips Solution Architects to assist in the solution selling process.
You are a part of
Professional Services Delivery team, which is playing a very important role in the growth and transformation of Philips solution business. You will directly report to Professional Services Delivery Leader and cooperate with Project Manager, Integration Consultant, Application Consultant and sales team.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline. An advanced degree and related accreditations a plus.
At least 10+ years IT experience in a highly qualified function including experience as technology & solution architecture (e.g. Technology Research & Digital, Commercial-IT domain, Architecture and/or Design Lead, etc.)
Minimum of five years of hands-on design and implementation experience in IT (solution requirements / design, Application development)
Demonstrated knowledge and/or advanced certifications in specific areas of expertise such as:
Systems (operating system, virtualization, database, security, cloud)
Networks (hardwired devices, wireless, VPN, hardware (e.g., routers, switches, etc.), assessment and troubleshooting).
Integration (HL7, API, device data transfer HL7 certification is preferred.
Data mining (relational database, architecting query design based on customer requirements, query development, scripting and testing, troubleshooting)
Previous experience working in a hospital, technical or customer service environment.
A proven track record in developing complex architectures and collaborating with high performing information technology global teams that are culturally diverse in matrix organizations
Experience of working with multiple and complex projects to quality, time and budget
Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a complex matrix organization
Proven ability to understand and influence stakeholders within and across the function, building trust and driving the change agenda leveraging both the formal and the informal elements of the organization
Proven ability to deal with uncertainty, adjusting course as the circumstances change, without jeopardizing the end goals and the achievement of the strategic objectives
Business fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
