In this role, you have the opportunity to
Be the NPI/LCM (New Product Industrialization/Life Circle Management) Leader, manage industrialization projects for outsourced manufacturing at suppliers, implement Life Cycle Management projects at suppliers and drive the initiation of LCM projects by suppliers.
You are responsible for
Identify cost saving opportunities with the supplier.
Contribute to sourcing decisions identifying required supplier capability and quality level.
Creates, release and continuously drive the improvement of tools, equipment and manufacturing processes and related Quality systems to meet the product specifications.
Translate product requirements into process requirements safeguarded by proper process monitoring.
Identify gaps between required and current supplier capabilities, and drive quality improvement plan / risk mitigation accordingly.
Implement design and manufacturing process changes at supplier.
Lead and conclude negotiations of Quality Agreement and ensure that suppliers meet Quality Agreements.
Monitor the effectiveness of product quality control plans with suppliers throughout the product life cycle.
Ensure compliance of supplier to Safety regulations, Quality and ROHS/REACH standards on quality management process and product level. Support supplier audits, selection & qualification assessments.
Validate (Supplier) Quality data and Quality system performance to warrant Quality data integrity. Own and approves the release of purchased parts and finished goods.
You are a part of
A global advanced manufacturing team, mainly for domestic electrical appliance products.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Education：BS/MS in technical/engineering relevant discipline
Experience: Total 8yrs work experience, with preferably more than 5 yrs. experience in an industrial environment, Professional in relevant manufacturing technology, lean manufacturing and supplier quality management. Preferably in domestic electrical appliance industry. With consumer electronics background has additional advantage.
Competencies and Skills:
In depth understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, equipment and quality systems analytical skills, Experience with quality management systems
Expert in modern engineering methods, tools and processes
In-depth knowledge of process improvements and cost optimization
Strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders,
Good written English Skills, workable oral English. Chinese language is a MUST.
