Philips Account Manager in Singapore, Singapore


The Role:

  • The Account Manager develops, maintains and improves relations with a limited number of accounts to keep or to set Philips as preferred supplier.

  • Initializes and coordinates all Philips efforts to the accounts in order to maximize the output of the sales group.

  • Creates an account plan for each account for 2 years in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group. Creates and implements action programs for and with the accounts to improve the performance of Philips.

  • Drives the performance of the functions in the account team to get it done.

  • Systematically analyzes and reports sales results, expectations, market, competition and trends to make proposals for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

As a goal-driven Account Manager you’re the prime person responsible for generating sales volume by developing credible long-term relationships with our customers. You will represent Philips by developing and driving key partnerships both internally with Philips Healthcare counterparts (marketing, service, support, education, legal etc.) and externally with customers within the given accounts to drive order recognition and to drive revenue recognition against a set of annual targets.

  • Create comprehensive customer profiles and effective customer acquisition or retention strategies.

  • Increase awareness of Philips evolving strategies for expanding and changing its products and services.

  • Knowledge of team dynamics and skill in coordinating the deployment of people and resources to create a compelling customer value proposition.

  • Capability to uncover and develop the customer's decision criteria, analyze competitive offerings and influence the decision criteria to their advantage.

  • Combine business offerings into complete configured solutions including supporting value added services

  • Ensure coordination between all customer facing functions, and distribution channels in the region to guarantee “one face to the customer”.

  • Develop and maintain excellent communication links and relationship with top customers and the key decision makers in the region

  • Provide regular feedback about market development and competitive situation

  • Ensure un-compromised implementation of the standard Philips Business processes, quality standards and standards of business conduct according to Philips policies.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • At least 10 years of solid experience in a sales and marketing capacity, with relevant experience in Diagnostic Imaging / Image Guiding Therapy devices / Monitoring Analytics and Therapeutic Care or related background

  • Extensive / proven sales track record

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
