In this role, you have the opportunity to
Execute and lead projects on Sales, Business Development and Marketing related topics applying professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks. Working collaboratively with relevant partners, who define the project scope, deliverables and plan, whilst delivering transparency through reporting and communication and leading quality control throughout the project life cycle.
You will manage an integral complex and innovative projects in Business Development in close collaboration with our market teams. The accent lies also on developing strategic direction as well as on realization of projects to grow our business. Formulates the project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, set by management; specifies the staffing, resources required, anticipated costs and assesses risk.
Our core focus is on growing our Services and Lifecycle Business in the ASIA region (including Greater China, Japan, ASEAN Pacific and India).
You are responsible for
Formulating the project/program plan, in consultation with management and other parties.
Responsible to organize the resources to be used (quality, time, budget and information).
Define the risks and develops scenarios to overcome these risks.
Responsible for implementation and realization according to plan (specification, quality, time, money, information) and organization.
Report on the progress with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project/program members.
Oversee the development and execution of project communication strategy.
Ensure that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project/program results and the associated knowledge.
Gives direction and leads projects from initial phase until introduction in the Market or until internal company delivery. Prepares and implements projects in multi-discipline areas agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing.
Professional knowledge of project management methods, and estimation techniques (resources, time and risks) for the relevant technical/ functional discipline.
To be successful at Philips in this opportunity you need to be
BA/BS with MBA preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience in strategic business development. Able to create tangible business value-success moving ideas from concept, through business cases, and development and launch that delivery incremental value to customers and Philips.
Healthcare industry and services experience is required.
Multiple year management and success of planning and execution on existing or new businesses with record
Negotiation skills; managing multiple stakeholders (internal and external),
Demonstrates superior leadership and collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions, resolve conflicts, and create lasting, productive partnerships
