In recent years, Philips activated its primary care engagement in emerging markets via a number of digital health initiatives like Mobile Obstetrics Monitoring, or turn-key care centers model like the Community Life Centers. As we plan to actively drive this agenda in the region, we need to actively engage with potential partners and prospects to unlock this opportunity. The Corporate Strategy team is currently recruiting for Business Analyst interns this Summer in some of these emerging markets namely, Indonesia and Myanmar.

You will be responsible for:

The internship project involves supporting initiatives in primary care for emerging markets which include assessing market opportunities, developing business cases, and engaging with critical stakeholders (government, NGOs, insurance / pharma corporations, startups) in the local market.

The intern will work closely with the Strategy & New Business Development team for Philips HealthTech in APAC on the following areas

  • Development of Primary Care business case(s)

  • Conduct business presentations and meetings with key stakeholders (and follow ups)

  • Conduct market research & assessment

  • Support Business models development and testing

To be considered, you will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree with relevant discipline i.e. Finance, Business Admin

  • Good business understanding and result orientation

  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills

  • Strong communications skills; Ability to communicate in Bahasa or Burmese will be an added advantage

  • Ability to work in a team-based environment

This role will be based in Singapore from June 2018 - December 2018. Philips does not sponsor work/training passes for this role. Eligible candidates need to demonstrate that they have the legal right to work in Singapore to be considered.
