Marketing Strategy & Management is responsible for development and implementation of the local Market business strategy to deliver against BMC plans and AOP commitments. Marketing Strategy is the steward of the Philips brands in the market and creates Marketing Jobs To Be Done to grow brand preference. Manages the full P&L and has accountability for all key business decisions (Product, Price, Place, Promote). Manages go-to-market strategy with the Sales team to ensure we win with key customers. Drives demand generation and ensures local relevance of the value propositions. Conducts BMC planning and execution, monitors performance, continually improve and implement any corrective actions.

You are responsible for

  • Responsible for P&L management and delivery

  • Builds Marketing Planning (18 months rolling) linked to strategic objectives of the BMC/SPOR plans

  • Develops local go-to-market strategies (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, Portfolio definition, Pricing (Including Coupons - planning, execution & tracking), and Promotion to drive profitable growth

  • Works with team to leverage consumer/customer insight to develop best in class products/services to create competitive advantage & market share

  • Defines Product Portfolio Strategy and Management for the local market, including roadmap planning & execution, and product launches/phase-outs

  • Creates Marketing Jobs to be done and briefs for demand generation programs, ensuring that business performance is being delivered according to KPIs

  • Forecasts the business 12 months out, in close collaboration with Supply/Operations team

  • Provide Business Groups (BG's) with local insights about markets, competition and local category trends

  • Establishes effective working relationships and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Marketing Performance Optimization and drives continuous improvements applying LEAN.

  • Ensure major retailers content requirements are being communicated to central digital teams, business groups and local brand teams

  • Manage Launch Process including, advocating for detailed asset formats, online item setup and maintenance, local content repository (Salsify), creation of enhanced/A+ detail pages and video uploads through content syndication partner (DigiShare) and updates in Web Collage.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelors required, Masters strongly preferred

  • 7+ years relevant experience

  • Proven experience unlocking growth via Consumer Insights

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Digital & Personalized Marketing

  • Technical Marketing Analytics/Biz Fundamentals (POS, Fcst, Budget,…)

  • Track Record of delivering strong B2C/B2I Go To Market Strategies

  • Understanding of Marketing Channel Mix Strategies (digital/in store)

  • Ability to navigate complex business market/channel structures

  • Experience influencing and managing key senior stakeholders

  • Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Decision Making skills

  • Self Starter with drive to take initiative and ownership

  • Entrepreneurial, unwilling to accept status quo, continually improving
