We are currently looking for a Solution Architect to engage in a multi-disciplinary team focusing on Philips healthcare informatics solutions in the business area of Connected Care including patient monitoring, patient data management systems, tele-health and population health management, in Sweden. If you are recognized as an expert in the field of IT solutions and customer facing solution design supporting sales, and you have significant experience in the Swedish or Nordic healthcare informatics market, then this could be the right opportunity for you.
You are responsible for
Actively participates in customer interviews and customer needs analysis
Translates customer goals into a solution design that exemplifies a unique value proposition
Communicates technical aspects of Philips solutions to customers and sales in clear, simple terms aligning customer goals with solution capabilities
Facilitates between different subject matter experts and sales to come to a strong solution & services architecture, reaches out to 3rd parties when required.
Identifies engagement technical risk and initiates a mitigation plan for the proposed solution, including a risk assessment of 3rd party components. Works with the BIU/BG to mitigate product risks that may be uncovered
Assists in developing customer multi-generational plans wrt TCO, life cycle management, privacy & security and phased deployment
Creates technical specification requirements and interface requirements for integrated solutions
Contributes to the business case development and owns the technical components of the Statement Of Work, Request for Proposal/Information
Resolves technical issues during negotiations and contracting
Transfers technical requirements and commitments to the Philips delivery teams and follows up closely with the team on any Requests for Change
Stay current on product, services, IT and industry trends so as to offer the best in class solutions to Philips customers
Provides mentoring and business leadership to other technical staff
You are a part of
You will collaborate with the wider Nordic team including technical, clinical, sales and project management team members to meet customer expectations. You will assure that technical solutions and clinical workflow meet customer requirements, are technically feasible, and can be implemented by the delivery and services organization. Your role will be primarily responsible for the Swedish market, but work in a cross-Nordic team.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical education
5 years experience in the medical / healthcare industry of equivalent related experience
Experience as a System Architect or System Designer preferred in the Healthcare IT and/or patient monitoring
Broad understanding of multiple technology solution areas in healthcare with specialized knowledge in the areas where Healthcare IT and Patient Monitoring solutions are utilized in the customer environments
Deep understanding of departmental and enterprise information systems and systems integration.
Practical, working knowledge of Healthcare IT systems integration protocols and technologies including HL7, XML, DICOM, API and various information exchange methodologies
Working knowledge of customers’ technical landscape such as EMR/EHR, LIS, voice reporting, PACS, VNA and/or archival solutions
Strong conceptual and analytical skills to find solutions to complex problems
Project Management certification preferred
Comfortable to present solutions and interact with a broad ranges of customer representatives ranging from Engineers, developers, designers, architects, IT managers and CIO’s
Strong collaboration skills in a global business environment
