In this role, you have the opportunity to
Image Chain Power Electronic Engineer leads solution for special task, work with cross function to understand user requirement, customer needs, provide multiple proposal and perform analysis for decision making, deliver the technical content, performance, intellectual property and quality deliverables of an NPI program.
The position has design responsibility to ensure that product programs achieve all design objectives required to meet customer and business needs, including: feature and functionality, quality, reliability, serviceability, manufacture-ability, regulatory, compliance and cost. This position also need provide technical support for post marketing production, include design change, manufacturing support and supplier quality improvement.
You are responsible for
Power supply design for new product, achieve project goals on time
Development of concepts for power resonant circuits with power electronic inverters and high power units.
Developing power supply unit with different control techniques (PFM, PWM, etc.) and topology (LLC, Phase Shift, buck, boost, etc.)
Calculating of electro-magnetic components and units for power supply and EMC solution (Transformers, Inductances, Coils, etc.) with the use of the newest advanced magnetic materials.
Specification, design and implementation of power electronic circuits for series production;
Evaluate and optimize PCBA design
Attend system integration, test and optimize circuit design accordingly
Complete relevant technical document
Supporting supplier screening and supplier development
Engaging in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
Ensuring reliability, performance and delivery through supplier relationships
Understanding marketing and customer needs of product
Leading design feasibility study under pressure with cross function
Developing innovative designs to meet all requirements for performance, reliability, serviceability, warranty, cost and manufacturability
Developing engineering design concepts for components that have tough requirements for usability, precision, reliability, cost and schedule
Conducting analysis of installed base and new product reliability using FMEA, Weibull Analysis tools
Supporting subsystem development of verification and validation activity and execution
Verifying and validating subsystem level reliability
Working with service engineer to improve product serviceability and reduce warranty cost
Supporting the subsystem defect and design change activity during product development phase
Design transfer/post market activity:
Working closely with supplier to ensure the product quality
Supporting product design transfer R&D delivery
Lead design change activities
Provide technical support for product manufacturing
Supporting field issue analysis and close
Aware of and comply with the SuZhou Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to thisjob type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing
Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master in power electronic education background, 35 years design experience in power supply.
Good theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical engineering, especially in the field of power electronics
Experience in dimensioning of power electronic resonant circuits and inverters for higher frequencies.
Consolidated knowledge in EMC
Experiences and practical knowledge with power supply design simulation tools (PSpice, Matlab, etc.)
Experiences and knowledge on PCB layout design is necessary
Knowledge on quality assurance design, e.g. derating, reliability.
Communication skills and capacity for teamwork
Strong ability to collaborate with global team
