Philips CS Logistics Manager in Suzhou, China


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be responsible for logistics service to internal customer (FSE & CS sales), to ensure all process is in accordance with PHS policy and regulation. The service rendered is to ensure material (parts & tools) available when requested, and deliver it on time & at low cost, it includes inventory planning, import/export, domestic distribution & collection, warehousing management, 3rd party purchasing/repairing & vendor management, as well as team management.

You are responsible for

  • Accurate service parts planning for sufficient local parts stock & supply

  • Speedy parts delivery at low cost to meet customer requirement

  • Streamline import & export & keep good relationship with Customs / CCIQ

  • Timely parts collection & return to SPS AP for due credit back

  • Periodical inventory reconciliation for stock accuracy

  • Close monitor to service vendor to maintain / improve KPI & service level

  • Local sourcing, purchasing & repairing of parts/ tools to bring material cost saving

  • Logistics cost control through billing audit & RFQ

  • Other tasks assigned by team & company

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

a) Education学历:

College or above

Major in Logistics, Economics or Engineering related

b) Experience工作经验:

> Proven record of 10 years’ relevant working experience in logistics, planning or purchasing

c) Competency and Skills 能力和技能:

  • Solid Knowledge in Logistics & International Biz (import/export)

  • Biz acumen, clear, careful and logic thinking, sense of responsibility

  • Demonstrated ability in SAP (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Good interpersonal/communication skill & team coaching capability

  • Strong data analysis capability and ability to handle multi tasks

  • Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking

  • Willing to learn and take ownership for team result
