Philips Equipment Engineer in Suzhou, China

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Review and manage all equipment and tooling of IS Suzhou operations, properly define preventive & predictive maintenance plan, calibration plan, back-up plan, sorting equipment profiles and vendors, setup test environment, train operators on site, and make continuous improvement on mechanical & electrical safety and production efficiency.

You are responsible for

  • Equipment setup, acceptance, routine maintenance implementation and trouble shooting, reduce production line interruption.

  • Define equipment preventive and predictive maintenance plans that comply with QMS. Train and work with operators to perform the plan and monitor the progress and performance.

  • Equipment CAPEX management, Equipment Data Collection and analysis.

  • Initiate LEAN and KAIZEN action to improve equipment safety and efficiency.

  • Support TUV, SFDA, FDA, CFDA, etc to fulfil QMS requirement.

  • Complete other related works which are assigned by manager.

You are a part of

A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the equipment manager.

  • Working with operation, quality, R&D, procurement, finance team closely.

  • Working with project team (especially CT & MR) closely.

  • Connect with equipment supplier to get product information and compare prices.

  • Connect with supplier on trouble shooting and continues improvement.

  • Connect with the 3rd. lab for equipment calibration and maintenance service.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or above degree in mechanics and/or electronics on industrial engineering field with strong technical and engineering understanding, MS preferred.

  • Expert experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repair.

  • Above 5 years’ working experience in manufacturing on assembly, test equipment, tool management, prefer to have hot melting equipment maintenance experience, e.g. Hot furnace injection equipment, hot press machine, oven, etc.

  • Good project management, teamwork and communication skill.

  • Strong execution and follow up.

  • Take ownership.

  • Basic English reading and writing ability.

  • Mechanical & electrical diagram reading and design ability.
