You are responsible for
The Product Industrialization Project Manager leads holistically the industrialization of New Products or major changes to existing products driven by a PDLM sequenced release. This function drives and orchestrates cross functionally, namely with QE, global ME, site ME and, indicated by outsourcing activities, with SQE,PE, the development and release of manufacturing processes, tools and equipment for PDLM governed projects.
The above applies to products and its constituents produced by Philips factories or by factories of suppliers.
This function is responsible for all steps towards release to production along the PDLM deliverables, most prominently manufacturing process requirements, IQOQPQ and V&V in cross functional collaboration. PIE Initiates and completes the handshake with ME for factory shipment release.
As the Manufacturing Engineer, your responsibilities include:
Within PDLM is responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools and equipment of the Manufacturing systems, leading to predictable, reliable, stable and efficient production processes. Pitcher of new product industrialization projects towards the sites
Initiates and oversees process technology development activities in the context of New Product Generation as well as product and solution technology roadmap.
Ensures adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release
Responsible for Manufacturing input in PDLM process focusing on DfMAT
Initiates and executes Capex optimization for initial investments
Is accountable for process and Manufacturing Requirements based on Product Specifications and Test Requirements from I&D
Accountable for process and equipment capability that meets Requirements
Is accountable for establishing Inspection and Test Criteria for Philips owned components and assemblies
Orchestrates design for lean manufacturing with according inputs to PDLM workflows.
Responsible for PDLM-driven design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers and their implementation
Is accountable for MF BOM and routing Master data until release to shipment and for PDLM ruled changes
Responsible for resources, planning, quality and cost (including Capex) for Industrialization projects
Executes the processes and standards in adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws , Philips General Business principles and other policies

A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the quality of our products and growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Global function manager.
You will be working closely with managers and teams from other functions like manufacturing, procurement, quality, supply chain and R&D, cross-functional project teams locally and globally.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor or Master degree in e.g. Mechanical, automatic control or Electrical Engineering
10 years of related work experience for Bachelor degree (8 years for Master degree). Work experience in medical device manufacturing and finished medical devices preferred.
Production/Process or Manufacturing Engineering experience
Experience in design transfer and manufacturing transfer projects
Experience in leading multi-disciplinary (global) projects
Experience working with FDA Quality Systems Regulations and ISO Quality Systems.
Project management skills.
Experience with Agile and SAP.
Experience performing Design for Manufacturing and Test initiatives
Process verification and validation knowledge.
Lean manufacturing concepts and understanding.
Effective communication skills with superiors, subordinates, and contractors (English is required)
Ability to adapt to evolving projects requirements.
Problem solving skills.
Continuous improvement mindset and a result driven and quality driven approach
Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and integrity when making decisions.
