Senior Electromagnetic Engineer
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Play an important role in the development of new concept or MRI major components including antenna and RF circuits. This position has the opportunity to work with the world famous top-level scientists and experienced engineers of Philips.
You are responsible for
Electromagnetic design and analysis (MRI superconductive magnet and gradient coil)
Numerical analysis and programming
Conduct component and system validation and verification.
You are a part of
A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Manager, Field Generate Unit , with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Strong background in electromagnetic engineering with a MS or Doctor’s degree
Experience with mathematics and physics
Experience with Methods programming (C++, Matlab, Labview)
Experience with design and analysis tools and methods, Ansys is preferred.
Knowledge of other disciplines (structural, thermal, cryogenic) is preferred
Knowledge of quench protection, shimming method is preferred.
Large scale electrical motor, electrical device, magnet coil, superconductive equipment is priority.
