Image quality Engineer:
The Image Quality Engineer has design responsibility to deliver algorithms and features that enhance system performance, feature functionality, and product quality mainly from image quality perspective.
KARS (but are not limited to):
Work with marketing:
Work closely with Marketing and application to define the performance segment image Quality criteria.
Collaborate with clinical partners to evaluate new features and technologies.
Working with customers, Marketing and field personnel to refine requirements which can be refined by the engineering teams
Responsible for research and development of innovative algorithms and features on the technology roadmap and realizing the designs on NPI.
Develop system level image quality performance metrics and specifications, allocate specifications across key image chain components, and perform performance tradeoff analysis.
Develop system physics models to enable performance tradeoff analysis and specification allocation.
Lead image quality integration of image chain components, perform physics and image quality technical risk retirement
Developing design solutions and specification allocations to image chain components, image calibration and evaluation method.
Working across functions and team boundaries to define, design, and implement the next generation of products
Release Image Quality specification for NPI
Support subsystem IQ related requirement definition (Geometry or Image chain)
Support IQ requirements design traceability.
Support the IQ related verification specification and verification activities
Perform IQ related defect investigation, resolution.
Design transfer/post market activity:
Support the manufacturing in Image Quality test tool development and defect investigation and fixed
Support LCM in Image Quality related issue, include design change, Operation support and field support
Delivering and incorporating customer feedback results into new hardware and/or algorithm designs
Master degree with 3-years image quality relevant work experience or phd in physics, electrical/computer engineering, biomedical engineering or closely related discipline. Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems Expertise in the physics of DXR Imaging system and experience in the development/analysis of image reconstruction, calibration and correction algorithms. Expertise in new product introduction, familiar with product development process. Experience modeling / simulating the performance of medical imaging systems and the use of analysis software tools such as MATLAB Broad exposure to algorithm design for image processing and calibration and expertise in performance modeling, image quality evaluation for DXR product. Broad exposure to DXR System performance, algorithm design and expertise in performance modeling, image quality evaluation.
