Philips Test Engineer in Suzhou, China

You are responsible for

  • Draft, review, update, and maintain working instructions for related test processes.

  • Maintains and upgrade test equipment, SW, test tooling working with tolling RDE’s, and resolve problems as necessary.

  • Provides training for technicians and MFG team members for operating the required testing.

  • Works as key interface with team members in other sites for communication and issue resolving related to testing and ensure all test processes are functioning properly as specified.

  • Strong capability for data analysis(incl. statistics) and provide suggestion per evaluation results

  • Participants in NPI and sustaining projects to ensure the transducers development has specs that are measurable and testable and meets customers’ requirements

  • Participate and contribute to process standardization process improvement for lean production.

  • Responsible for the assigned tasks’ quality of work, reliability, schedule, cost and completion of tasks on one or more modules. Deliver quality results in assignments

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or College degree, major in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or in equivalent field.

  • Adequate understanding of ultrasound image and the ability to troubleshoot possible causes.

  • Demonstrated experience in the relevant industry in the field of transducers testing

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product testing and data analysis in manufacturing and/or product development;

  • Experience in areas of acoustics testing, knowledge of manufacturing of medical ultrasound transducers is a plus

  • Capable of use state-of-art test equipment such as oscilloscope, signal generator, etc. Familiar with Excel VBA, LabVIEW.

  • Understanding on statistical analysis of data and provide solution according to the results.

  • Solid ability to operate independently; Good technical skill for problem solving and troubleshooting

  • Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate and/or present complex technical issues to engineers and managers

  • Proficient in both Chinese & English; CET-6 or better
