In this role, you have the opportunity to be a part of the highly motivated and performance driven team supporting the Account Managers across London and the surrounding areas to maximise order intake, sales, prices realisation and customer satisfaction whilst developing and optimising the customer relationship in order to ensure the long term profitability in the defined number of accounts .
You are responsible for
Acting as a brand ambassador for Philips SRC
Providing territory cover for Account Manager absence (during annual leave/ training etc.)
You will work with customers to add value and increase awareness of brands via 1:1, group meetings and education
You will be responsible for the management of own diary and time to maximise business outcomes
You will manage the CRM system to ensure sequential selling and capture all relevant customer information
Planning and prioritising your workload based on business potential, optimising sales potential
Flexibility in your approach to work and act on any business opportunity
Communicating effectively with customers with differing needs, influencing and negotiating appropriately.
Learning and communicating product information effectively
Acting professional at all times, be highly motivated and keen to exceed the expectations of customer
In addition to the above support the Account Manager with the following responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies at a local and regional level
Responsible for filling the funnel management tool and systematically analysing win & loss deals, expectations, customer satisfaction, market, competition and trends
Responsible for the sales forecast at the assigned accounts
Take product responsibilities as directed
Participate in relevant exhibitions or local events
Coordinate all internal necessary resources to obtain objectives and where necessary involves others where necessary
Ensure quotations are completed and delivered within time limits
Ensure that completed quotations are based on a solution / configuration compliant to specifications validated by the Business, and it is properly reviewed by Operations for feasibility and accuracy prior to being issued
Ensure any third party product included in the solution and not part of the catalogue is properly validated for compatibility / compliance of specifications
Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality Standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner
If and when required provide dedicated support to assigned accounts to ensure timely collection of Accounts Receivable
Constantly extend the customer base
Take on additional project responsibilities when requested
Report back competitor activity and business opportunities
Carry out ad hoc projects as required.
You are a part of
You will work within the SRC Sales team, working daily with marketing, operations and finance stakeholders to explode the business within your territory. This position will be field based, spending 80% of your time working across London and the surrounding areas with the remainder of your time working from home, or our offices in Guildford or Chichester.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Degree level qualification – science graduates are a preference
Strong natural sales instinct.
Good knowledge of the NHS
Excellent communication skills
A drive to succeed and exceed sales targets
Passionate about a career in the healthcare sector
Individuals with a clinical background who are looking to step away from clinical practice into your first commercial role
