In this role, you have the opportunity to
Look after the operational management and sales support activity for Philips Healthcare products & solutions sold through our Indirect Channel network.
Provide focused clinical, technical, and strategic sales support to Philips distributors ensuring growth & profitability targets are met across the product portfolio.
Ensure full compliance with all Q&R & GBP requirements within Philips Healthcare UK & Ireland.
You are responsible for
Working with many functional areas internally and directly with our external partners and customers.
Defining and implementing product sales strategies across the product portfolio with our external partners and UK&I Sales & Marketing team.
Providing operational support to our distributors in conjunction with our UK&I Sales Support team & Head of Sales, ECR, RDT and Dealer Channels.
Supporting of tender submissions for purchasing frameworks both directly and Indirectly as required.
Ensuring all distributor activity meets the Philips GBP and complying with European Competition Law with guidance as necessary from PH Legal Counsel & Indirect Channel Manager.
Working in partnership across the PH UK Sales & Customer Services teams, districts & region to encourage teamwork with the Indirect Channel partners also supporting “One Philips” strategies when required.
Providing first line support for products & applications in conjunction with the EMEA marketing centre and Philips Healthcare UK&I Customer Support Centre.
Acting as a focal point of contact between Philips and distribution channels, ensuring correct escalation of product or customer dissatisfaction issues when required.
Organizing regular distributor review meetings with Head of Sales, ECR, RDT and Dealer Channels evaluating channel partner performance against business metrics - OIT, forecasting & funnel health.
Reviewing progress of business & marketing plans, customer & competitive landscapes providing support and additional resources where necessary.
Proposing marketing programs to Head of Sales, ECR, RDT and Dealer Channels and EMEA Marketing Centre to stimulate and maximize growth opportunities.
Providing PH Sales & Marketing with input for new product generations, competitive & market feedback as required. To also ensure channel partners are fully conversant and using the Philips Quality Customer Feedback System. Responsibility and ownership of Indirect Channel Sales CFMS actions in relation to customer feedback.
Attending external seminars/exhibitions supporting Dealers/Distributors and to forge relationships with KOL’s.
Supporting and assisting Head of Sales, ECR, RDT and Dealer Channels on special projects and distributor contract management with responsibilities around the contract renewal process and adherence.
Distributor monthly forecasts, win/loss and funnel reports ensuring accurate and timely submission by channel partners.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Sales & Marketing/technical or healthcare background, university level preferred.
Minimum 5 years combination of sales & channel/dealer management experience.
Experience and good understanding of channel partner business models & management.
Resuscitation, Cardiology & Fetal Monitoring market familiarization, this ideally gained from experience in a previous sales or support role within the UK& Ireland healthcare market.
Mature personality with excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
Understanding of team dynamics with proven experience working as part of a remote team.
Be able to work under pressure
Attention to detail and processes
Be prepared to travel throughout the UK&I and occasionally abroad as or when required
