The Advanced IT and Clinical Services Sales Specialist will provide technical and clinical sales leadership to our sales and marketing teams across a cross-functional sales team to increase our market share in the Midwest Zone. You will earn the trust of the customer by providing them consultation around the products and services that will allow them to deliver better and more accurate care to their patients to improve outcomes. We focus on differentiating our services portfolio within the proposed solution from our competition by helping our clients understand how to obtain World Class clinical and business IT results through the application of our services. As the senior point of contact for customers, this role also coordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work. You will regularly participate with services business development leadership in the strategic creation of initiatives to identify clinical and IT services that complement the product and system requirements which may improve client outcomes, process flow, industry reputation, and financial performance.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. Candidates need to live within the Midwest Zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initializing and coordinating all Philips efforts in order to achieve and exceed own and sales teams’ quotas

  • Assesses client’s business, clinical and technical needs and strategies as they pertain to our solution offerings and provide recommendations of IT and clinical services to add value to the customer’s solution offering along with the associated rationale and benefit

  • Introduce services to health systems and build a pipeline of activity that is differentiated from required tactical services

  • Facilitate clinically focused customer presentations that drive clinical benefits of MATC and clinical strategy

  • Collaborate with sales team resources to ensure the inclusion of a technologically-sound clinical offering

  • Works with the presales resources to identify, scope, propose and document the opportunity

  • Assists in calculation of engagement profit and loss following completion of delivery.

  • Participates in the retrospective project audits to determine opportunities for improvement in the scoping, definition and contracting of professional services

  • Provide a link between product marketing and the sales organization to ensure that products and services are being positioned to maximize customer value. Individual will provide market-in feedback to services product development organization based upon customer experiences

  • Act as a lead resources to transfer knowledge to presales team to effectively and efficiently achieve quota

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience with a bachelor’s degree: preferably in one of the following disciplines - physical or biological science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or information systems

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT sales, software solution sales, or clinical services account management

  • Ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid closing skills

  • Results-oriented approach, high energy, balanced with a “take charge” attitude with teamwork and collaboration

  • Deep Product Knowledge and expertise within the Philips Patient Monitoring product lines

  • Ability to quickly demonstrate expertise and establish credibility with clinical and technical decision makers

  • Confident with developing relationships with C-suite executives.

  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills

  • Experience in clinical workflow and healthcare operations in acute, general care and ambulatory practice settings

  • Must possess a working/operational knowledge of medical informatics such as HL7 and ADT interfacing, DICOM, clinical/hospital information systems interfacing (HL7 and ADT) and medical device integration

  • Strong IT infrastructure comprehension in the areas of networking, virtualization and security

  • Demonstrated team leadership or willingness/ability to manage advanced projects

  • Requires a broad understanding of multiple technology solution areas in healthcare with specialized knowledge in those areas where Connected Care products are utilized in the customer environments
