Philips Director of Payor Sales, Government and National Accounts in United States of America - Home Based, Massachusetts


In this role, you have the opportunity to lead this Government /Payor Sales function for Philips Lifeline Government Services Division (GSD), and National Accounts Team for the United States.

You will continue to grow and develop the team of high performance sellers that consistently deliver to their sales quotas and other key performance indicators. Role will develop new strategies and specialized sales plans to attract new customers. Lead expansion of existing strategic partnerships with collaborate with other Philips HealthTech organizations to drive expansion of State and Federal Government business to include other Payor opportunities.

You are responsible for

  • Contributing as an active senior member of the US Sales Staff and collaborates with peers to lead aspects of the US Sales Organization

  • Hires, manages trains, sets objectives for, and evaluates the performance of all sellers within the organization.

  • Actively participate in new North America Payor Projects to help build a business in the Payor Space.

  • Provides direction, coaching, counseling and leadership to all direct reports to motivate employees, improve performance, enhance service quality, heighten employee effectiveness

  • Designs, implements, and leads the Government Division in a manner that is beyond the sales team and acts within a segment leader fashion.

  • Ensures that effective training programs and processes are in place and that staff are properly trained, performance measurements provided to personnel and timely positive and corrective feedback given.

  • Oversees the effective cross functional integration of Sellers with team with GSD operations, contract, billing, and service activation functions

  • Develops expense budget for department; accountable for managing department within planned spending targets

  • Monitors and manages organization to achieve stated metrics. Assures the complete and accurate reporting of sales metrics daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly. You are a part of The Philips Lifeline U.S. Sales team leading the Government, Payor team To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred and/or specialization in gerontology

  • Experience with US Payors a must

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales management experience preferred

  • Budget development experience required. a plus

  • *Candidate can reside anywhere in the United States
