Philips LSP Technology Planning & Results Analyst (National) in United States of America - Home Based, Massachusetts

We are hiring! We are seeking a highly motivated Technology Planning & Client Results Business Analyst who is experienced in Customer data extraction and transformation, developing, maintaining and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other related projects for the Philips North America Enterprise Partnerships business. This position is remote and open nationally.

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Partner with customers, Enterprise deal teams, leaders and stakeholders across the North America Enterprise Partnerships business in order to develop and deliver end to end normalized data sets and visualizations for new Long-term Partnership opportunities, Value Analysis Engagements and Partner Dashboards, to enable technology planning, quantified initiative impacts, as well as partnership health insights and decisions. You will be the subject matter expert in defining, deploying and managing best practice methodologies and tools for data collection, transformation and visualization to support our Enterprise Partnerships shared business goals. You will be a part of a high functioning and collaborative Enterprise Partnerships team, and work closely with all of our Business Intelligence & Analytics teams.

You are responsible for:

Technology Planning Analytics & Reporting- 40%+ of time includes the following activities:

  • Partner with our Managed Technology Solutions (MTS), Multi-Vendor Solutions (MVS) and Multi-Year Planning (MYPlan) teams to integrate and develop best practices workflows for customer asset data extraction, reconciliation and reporting, using tools available in the landscape including and not limited to QlikView, Tableau, Sales Force, custom Microsoft based reporting solutions, Excel etc…

  • Help Technology Planning stakeholders to make strategically sound decisions based on analysis of asset data and provide insights regarding interpretation of data and trends (explain and enable the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of data analysis results)

  • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, produce data samples/prototypes and produce ad hoc reports. Obtain and analyze data by accessing multiple sources, including SAP and data warehouses. Demonstrate strong T-SQL skills to enable agile data analysis and data preparation for front end Technology Planning

  • Evaluate and utilize appropriate BI tool available in the toolkit to streamline report generation and provide speed to business leader decision making, including self–serving tools that enable users to analyze data through many business dimensions with visibility to granular and historical data

  • Modify / improve existing reports/dashboards as directed by the business

  • Evaluate and plan activities to implement automation of manual data extracts and other manual activities supporting any reporting currently supported by you

  • Create all required documentation on all projects using pre-defined templates and keep documentation up to date on any existing report changes and facilitate training & rollout of new tools

  • Respond and resolve all feedbacks (all priorities) within the set thresholds (business days)

  • Create training and internal QA/UAT documentation, perform quality assurance and ongoing monitoring of current reports and data for accuracy and usage. Develop and understanding of Six Sigma and other quality methods

Customer Partnership Dash-boarding and Value Analysis - 40% + of time includes the following activities:

  • Support pre and post Value Analysis (VA) project data collection, surveying and visualization requirements and reviews with the VA project team and LSP Marcom, identify best practices and learning’s and implement in project execution process to improve future project execution.

  • Document and review lessons learned to improve VA project data collection, surveying & visualization processes to improve quality and effectiveness of VA project delivery.

  • Partner with customers, Business & Performance Solutions, Business Intelligence & Analytics teams and IT to facilitate the development and deployment of internal and customer-facing Enterprise Partnership Dashboards and KPI standardization.

  • Collaborate with other BAs in team for improved project execution process, data availability within existing reporting systems, and leverage and coordinate overlapping data requests/reports.

  • Collaborate with global counterparts to share NA Enterprise Partnership reporting initiatives and gather insights into global reporting initiatives to drive combined efforts and definitions. Share best practices and make recommendations to business.

Leadership - 10% of time includes the following activities:

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead small cross functional project teams

  • Implement change management planning to help gain buy-in and adoption at multiple levels

  • Provide guidance on best practices and approaches to design and implement effective and standardized data collection, transformation, visualization and analysis for Tech Planning, Value Analysis analytics, and Partnership Dash-boarding

  • Promote Philips values and leadership goals

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree within a technical/ business related field

  • Expertise in developing, maintaining and leading QlikView, Tableau, SalesForce, and custom Microsoft-based reporting solutions driven dashboards & analytics

  • Experience in architecting, designing, developing BI and other analytical, reporting solutions using standard BI tools

  • Strong experience in using SQL, Visual Basic & Excel macros for data set clean-up, deduping & matching.

  • Experience performing a business analyst role, preferably with some project management.

  • Experience in creation of functional specifications and project documentation and translating functional requirements into detailed technical requirements.

  • Has strong verbal & written communication skills.

  • Experience in problem solving / conflict resolution, critical thinking and priority setting.

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Project, Access and Visio.

  • Experience in working with several groups of data and users simultaneously.

  • Experience in being innovative and having strong analytic skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide strong time management skills.

  • Minimum of 5+ years as a BI/ Business Analyst

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience and expertise in QlikView or Tableau and Salesforce driven dashboard/analytics design, development and implementation

  • Knowledge of BI project management (preferred)

  • Working knowledge of BI/data warehouse functionality (preferred)

  • Working with SQL & Excel Macro
