Philips Marketing, Business Marketing Manager - CT/AMI, Out of Hospital Segment in United States of America - Home Based, Massachusetts


Your Challenge

Defines, implements, and manages the marketing strategy for Philips CT portfolio focused on serving the Out of Hospital segment of the North American computed tomography market including but not limited to diagnostic imaging center, specialty patient care, and point-of-care customers. Defines the product strategy with a time horizon of 1-3 year for an innovative product range with complete or partially new functionality and technologies for the Out of Hospital Segment. Translates the midterm product roadmap into concrete product specifications and activation in North America. Implements business plans, goals and product roadmap for the Out of Hospital segment of the North American CT/AMI market and works with the North American CT/AMI marketing team on the overall marketing and sales strategy, business plan, goals and roadmap

You are responsible for:

  • Responsible to develop and execute the Go To Market approach for the CT/AMI Out of Hospital Segment portfolio of products, solutions, services in alignment with the Markets Business overall market strategy

  • Works with the CT/AMI Business to ensure perfect and flawless New Product Introductions and launches in North America.

  • Supports the North American CT/AMI Business Marketing Manager/Leader in the interactions with the business, especially for key performance metrics, key enablers for success, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

  • Supports and coaches the Diagnostic Imaging Center/Out of Hospital Sales, Modality Sales and Clinical teams in the NA Market as a single point of contact to the Business and ensures Market strategy and plans are aligned.

  • Portfolio of products, solutions and services is medium and complex.


  • Has a broad knowledge of CT/AMI Out of Hospital segment portfolio of products and services; as well as, accessory and sister-products within the scope

  • Understanding of Total-cost-of-ownership modeling and creative finance models for this segment of the CT and AMI markets.

  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the marketing process and/or related understanding of the clinical and technical applications and needs of the assigned customer segments

  • Capable of leading a cooperative effort among members of multifunctional teams

  • Experience in marketing technology, in consumer / healthcare domains, including localizing value propositions to unique customers and markets Problem-Solving

  • Integrator in the market and/or matrix organization

  • Ability to work in a business with somewhat clear market/channel structures

  • Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of Philips organizational and modality business objectives in the North American market

  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria of obtaining results.

  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements


  • This is a senior manager position responsible for managing the CT/AMI out of hospital segment - business area in North America with the initiative to enable sales channels to win, develop key relationships, and strategies for CT/AMI and Philips innovative solutions.

  • Responsible for the achievement of relevant metrics for the efforts and deliverables, and meeting the goals and objectives

  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of various functions and departments

  • Contributes by recommending and implementing changes to methods, processes and procedures; as well as, customer meetings, presentations and strategy development as it pertains to the segment(s)

  • Responsible for the North American CT/AMI market in the Out of Hospital segment. The NA CT/AMI market is over $1.3 Billion dollar market across all segments.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelors degree and>5 years of industry related experience required. Masters degree preferred.

  • Experience in marketing technology, healthcare or diagnostic imaging products and solutions.

  • clinical or technical expertise in computed tomography or molecular imaging/nuclear medicine preferred

  • Prior sales, business development, or marketing experience in diagnostic imaging or related field preferred

  • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, cross business, and cross function

  • Bringing people together and aligning them around common goals; leverages the power of Philips independent from organizational structures and reports

  • Champion growth and mentorship across the organization

  • Customer intimacy: driven by a strong external focus

  • Problem Solving skills. Able to find solutions to difficult or complex issues. Drives continuous improvement.

  • Ability to develop strategic and promotional programs to help drive CT/AMI portfolio of systems, solutions, and services in the Out of Hospital segment

  • Ability to travel 30%-50%; Remote Role
