This is a newly created position to manage Cardiology Informatics renewal/upgrade sales opportunities. This role will primarily focus on the installed base and expanding sales to existing Philips accounts, spending at least 50% of time visiting customer sites. The Cardiology Installed Base Sales Specialist is expected to grow market opportunities by managing the lower-dollar volume customer needs. This team will support all our channels to grow our business within the Northeast Territory (Virginia up to Vermont).
You are responsible for
Build and maintain cooperative relationships across various functional departments including product marketing, support services, implementation services and area sales managers
Work closely with the field sales organization as the primary sales contact for installed customer base accounts. Specific focus on add-on software/services for our lower volume solutions and product expansion opportunities.
Work closely with the field sales organization as the primary sales contact for new customers in the under $60K solutions.
Develops funnel for Cardiology Informatics for physician offices & clinics to drive growth
Primarily focus on the installed base and focus on expansion sales to existing Philips accounts
Leverage account relationships to develop, maximize and close sales opportunities while ensuring a positive buying experience for the account
Increase Install Base business by uncovering additional opportunities to sell products and services
Act as a business/sales consultant to the customer, develop and present creative sales ideas and applications
Provide innovative solutions that satisfy customer needs while simultaneously building and maintaining a successful working relationship with the field sales organization and services organization
Educate customer on assigned products, services, and programs; providing price quoting as needed
Prepare sales forecasts and funnel reports as expected
Collect, enter and maintain accurate customer information in the appropriate Philips databases
Analyze specific geographic territory to identify and develop new business opportunities
Enter new sales into appropriate system
Follow sales process and procedures to ensure bookable orders and deliverable solutions that allow for revenue recognition
Work closely as part of the zone team to close deals by ensuring proper booking requirements are met to ensure timely bookings for in-house orders.
Owners of this role will spend at least 50% of their time visiting customer sites

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Associates degree in a business or clinical discipline or equivalent experience required. BS/BA degree preferred.
2+ years of either professional inside or field sales experience. Position requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must possess a demonstrated ability to use office equipment including telephone, fax, scanners, copiers, etc. Strong computer skills with practical experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Ability to educate and influence sales via strong communication skills including written and oral.
Ability to construct and maintain a robust bargaining position to insure positive response and agreement; striving for win-win situations utilizing the appropriate guidelines being aware of impact on margin and future sales.
Skillfully demonstrate professional demeanor via steadiness in sustaining calmness, poise and self-control in difficult situations.
Combining good common sense with sound analysis in recommending solutions from alternatives even in difficult situations.
May be required to work outside normal business hours for meetings and/or field travel. 60% travel required.
Demonstrate the ability to integrate goals and resources into systematic work routines to meet expected and unexpected contingencies.
