Philips Sales Specialist - Field Based, Healthcare Sales (Detroit MI) in United States of America - Home Based, Massachusetts

In this role, the chosen candidate will have the opportunity to leverage previous health care sales experience by promoting and generating sales opportunities for Philips Aging & Caregiving (Lifeline) within the (defined geography) market.

You are responsible for

Promoting Philips Lifeline service by working closely with Healthcare Professional (HCP) referral sources. Candidates will utilize referral development and referral source management tools to increase the sales of Philips Lifeline subscriptions within the assigned territory. This can be accomplished by educating the health care provider in groups or 1:1 settings to carefully articulate the benefit of the Lifeline service to that organization. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Overachievement of defined Territory Installation (new subscribers) quota.

  • Adhere to Philips Lifeline sales process (target, engage, close & follow-up) to achieve territory sales quota.

  • Target key health care professionals (HCP) with the objective of engaging them with the benefits of the Lifeline service for their particular patients/clients.

  • Leveraging existing healthcare referral network to drive community referrals for Philips ACG products and solutions. Prior home health or previous healthcare community referral marketing experience strongly preferred.

  • Soliciting and delivering educational in-service (group) presentations to existing and potential HCP referral sources, remotely in many cases in exchange for Philips Lifeline Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

  • Identify HCPs needs/challenges in helping their patients live at home longer and more independently and utilize that information to properly position the Philips Lifeline portfolio of solutions.

  • Provide Philips Lifeline materials such as referral kits, brochures, coupons, surveys, posters, etc. to support the referral sources in their referral work.

  • Working closely in a collaborative scrum team environment to strategically target high volume referral opportunities.

  • Identify net new business opportunities by asking probing questions and navigating to true decision makers. Work with scrum team counterparts to formalize these relationships and drive strong adoption of these “structured referral” programs.

  • Expanding upon existing referral source relationships as well as uncovering net new referral sources

  • Individual should be “in market” conducting face to face meetings a minimum of 3 days per week

You are a part of

National Healthcare Sales Development team for Philips Lifeline. This team resides in the market and are considered “remote” employees.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • At least one year of health care sales and/or marketing experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred or equivalent years of experience.

  • Strong computer and communication skills, Sales CRM and Hub Spot experience a plus

  • Ability to travel by car and plane including overnight intermittently

  • Reside in or close to Detroit MI, based on territory you will be required to support.
