Philips Senior Manager of Data Analysis in United States of America - Home Based, Massachusetts


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be a key developer in leading and expanding our Quality & Regulatory Quality Analysis team for our Connected Care organization. Create and implement new tools and methods to analyze and interpret data to enable faster and more accurate decisions by leaders across the business.

You are responsible for

  • Collaborate with leadership in R&D, Clinical, Servicing, Manufacturing, and other key functions to develop a pragmatic approach to data analysis, balancing theory with practical application.

  • Demonstrate expertise by leading a diverse team of managers and analysts to utilize and develop new techniques that add value, such as natural language processing and machine learning.

  • Lead the team to compile and analyze trending reports to identify opportunities that improve quality and decrease cost.

  • Support performance measures, ongoing measurement, data collection, reporting, and information dissemination.

  • Create and continually improve procedures and work instructions to ensure reliable, repeatable results.

  • Support ongoing compliance improvement initiatives, including CAPAs and Quality Plans.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 2+ years’ experience leading and managing people.

  • 5+ years’ experience in data modeling, analytics, visualization, trend analysis, or similar activity in a highly regulated industry. 3+ years’ experience with a MS or higher.

  • BS in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. MS preferred.

  • Experience analyzing large sets of data in the Healthcare, Finance, Insurance, or other applicable industries

  • Strong understanding of data analysis tools, methodologies, and processes, including use of a variety of accepted methods such as control charts, machine learning, and natural language processing.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects and implementing cultural change.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, including regularly leading presentations in front of peers and leadership.

  • Excellent team work skills including influencing and building rapport with internal customers and stakeholders.
