In this role, you have the opportunity to

significantly contribute to the success of our product line by improving rendering quality and performance. As a rendering specialist you will shape the future of our rendering engine, from research, choose of algorithms to implementation, optimization, all the way to help integrating, fine-tuning, and maintaining “your contribution” in the final product. You will be closely working with product management and application developers to identify requirements, new ideas and improvements. [raus, kommt unten nochmal]

You are responsible for

• Integrating existing our rendering modules into new and existing applications

• Working and communicating closely with product management and application development to improve rendering quality, usability, and performance

• Extending and maintaining our rendering subsystem

• Evaluating new ideas, suitable algorithms, and future technologies

• Low and high level performance optimization (vectorization, multi-core)

You are a part of

a cross-functional team of specialists working on new technologies, algorithms, and development infrastructure. This team designs, prototypes, implements, but also maintains components that are integrated in many products and different scenarios.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• At least bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience

• Ideally with courses or projects on software development and computer graphics

• 3D mathematics, visualization and Rendering

• Knowledge of industry standard graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL)

• Plus: Web technologies, including HTML5 standards like WebGL

• Experience in C/C++ programming

• Experience Object-oriented software design

• Knowledge of Test driven development and agile methodologies

• Knowledge of Profiling and debugging Tools

• Be a team player, communicate and educate, take full responsibility for your work and the whole product

• Strong communication and argumentation skill

• Working with and navigating a large code base

• Working cross-team in a fast-paced environment
