In this role, Operations Manager, you have the opportunity to
Expand the Philips Senior Living division within the Aging and Caregiving division at Philips based in Vancouver, BC.
You are responsible for
Planning and controlling engineering change orders (ECO)
Managing quality assurance programs to improve product performance within our CarePoint product Line.
Work closely with product management in researching new technologies and alternative methods to improve product efficiency or alternative solutions
Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and managing 3rd party vendors for our product portfolio
Developing, implementing and reviewing operational policies and procedures.
Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing on product portfolio.
Work with senior stakeholders on improving product, configuration and integration for our CarePoint solutions.
Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
Identify, address problems and opportunities for our operations or product line.
Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Product management on project deployment, enhancement and end of life.
Own and distribute monthly health and safety reports
Introduce S&OP tools and methodologies.
Implement and manage the periodically planning cycle.
Set up and implement consistent S&OP reports based on best practices and Philips standards.
Translate the sales forecast into an operations (supply, production, source and inventory) plan.
Communicate S&OP reports towards all internal and external stakeholders.
Manage phasing in / phasing out of assigned product-types.
Monitor and review the realization of the plans together with stakeholders (suppliers, sales/commercial operations & service/training, logistic manager (incl. purchasing) on a periodic basis and incorporates any changes into the plans.
Analyze deviations and drive action plans, issue resolution and tracking.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field.
Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
Understanding of general finance, budgeting, including P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
Excellent communication skills. Public speaking experience is required
Solid understanding of financial management
Experience or familiar with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi protocols and other radio protocols such as GSM, CDMA, etc.
Experience and understanding with Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory and planning and controlling change
Managing quality assurance programmers.
Researching new technologies or integration and alternative methods.
Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout.
Ability to work in a fast paced & sometimes stressful environment while maintaining professional and proactive demeanor
Experience managing multiple priorities in a multi tasked environment
Ability to work independently and within a Team environment
Must be able to understand/write/read and speak English language
Ability to travel (20%-30%) by air/auto may be required
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Familiar with Salesforce and SAP systems
