In this role, you have the opportunity to
Develop powerful backend APIs, distribute data processing application and complex real time algorithms to deliver cutting-edge features & products in an agile software development environment. In this critical role, you are a strong individual technical contributor who will participate cross-functionally in building an extensible platform that enables new synergies within both Philips Aging & Caregiving businesses and external ecosystem.
You are responsible for
Architecting and delivering scalable, production ready software solutions .
Communicating with stakeholders to determine priorities, understand requirements and explain tradeoffs.
Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers.
Implementing and encouraging software development best practices.
You are a part of
A fast paced team that enables senior care facilities to monitor location of residents and staff, to detect resident falls, to notify staff using alerts and help request, and to provide relevant reports and analytics.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
8+ years of experience in software development
Education in Computer Science or other related fields
AWS experience (Redshift, RDS, Elasticache, Dynamo, etc).
High-performance batch and real-time data pipes
RabbitMQ, Zookeeper etc.
SQL / NoSQL
Applied math (calculus, linear algebra, statistics)
Machine Learning experience
Spark and Kafka
Stream processing and REST
