In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work in an agile software team developing medical device software. Your code will create impactful solutions for Radiation Oncology applications used in many different stages of cancer treatment.
You are responsible for
Software development including participation to architectural design
Test automation design and implementation
Writing and maintaining proper documentation and participation to reviews
Participation in maintenance of released products
Participation in tool and process improvement
You are a part of
Philips Radiation Oncology business, which belongs to the global Philips Healthcare group. We develop and manufacture Image-Guided Therapy solutions for various medical conditions. Based out of Vantaa you will be part of a scrum software development team. Development teams at Vantaa are also collaborating with other teams at sites in Fitchburg (WI, US) and Bangalore (India).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
5+ years of software programming experience as part of an Agile software development team
Feeling of pride about quality and maintainability of software your team develops
MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent skills
Ability to work as part of the team focusing on a joint goal
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Skills we are interested in:
C#, C++, .NET with Microsoft Visual Studio
RESTful APIs - usage, design, maintenance, test automation
CI/CD, DevOps, Test Automation
Virtualization, Infrastructure as a Code
Understanding of medical software–related regulatory standards, such as IEC62304
