Assistant is experienced in all standard secretarial tasks. They work in a very large and complex organisation where substantial interests are at stake, the effects of which affect the entire Philips company or a large proportion of it. Therefore, the job at any level demands knowledge, experience and understanding of the organisation, the often conflicting interests at play and the many business processes and disciplines that are managed by the Manager. In addition, in this category of jobs the Executive Assistant has to make decisions without consulting others and is held responsible for these decisions afterwards. In view of the conflicting interests, the nature of the contacts is very critical. A further aspect is the need to be able to think ahead and to take action in such a way as to enable decision-making processes and priorities, for example, to be controlled more effectively by the Executive.
In tis role you will have the opportunity to

You will be responsible for
Supporting Board Members in all secretarial or administrative activities
Dealing with sensitive, complex and highly confidential information
Organizing (and hosting) meetings, events, conferences
Performing marketing, administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors
Documents and correspondence handling
Arranging travel bookings through system and taking care of the hotel arrangements
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Graduate with Bachelor or equivalent degree
Excellent English language skills
Good computer literacy and experience in MS office applications (excellent command of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a must)
Experience on a similar position would be an asset
Maturity and ability to cooperate with senior level executives
Result and action-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge, experience and understanding of the complex organization environment
Positive approach and motivation to work
Trustworthy, willingness to take accountability
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
