In this role, you have the opportunity to

You are responsible for:
Verifying conformance of materials to specifications, printed material criteria and workmanship standards to assure a safe product.
Support incoming inspection for electrical and mechanical commodities.
Perform functional test, visual and dimensional inspections per established inspection instructions under limited supervision.
Approval of inspection plans and other supporting documents on behalf of the inspection team
Carry out proofing activities and first article inspections
Providing training and guidance to inspectors working at benches.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Associates Degree with Industry Experience or Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Knowledge and application of Inspection Methods and Terms
Proficient in the use of the following precision measuring instruments (Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges, Multimeter, Durometer)
CMM (advanced use is a plus)
Other tools and fixtures as assigned
Use of microscope and other magnification tools
SAP experience is highly preferred
IPC-A-610 revision F Certification
Management of Inspection Plans
Performed first article inspections
