In this role, you have the opportunity to support Philips Service Operations in performing evaluations, repairs & estimates on medical equipment.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Performing evaluations, repairs & estimates on medical equipment.
Troubleshooting non-routine problems independently and guides other techs in routine troubleshooting. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Interacting with teams internal/external, in order to further business opportunities, efficiencies, and compliance with regulations to which we are held accountable.
Ensuring all training requirements are update within our training system.
Assisting other technicians with current training needs.
Performing in other roles within the facility, as required, with the understanding that flexibility and cross-training leads to strong overall performance in varying conditions.
Documenting activities, as required, within various systems, in order to comply with regulations and increase traceability and transparency of activities performed.
Consistently driving your leadership across all aspects of the Service Center
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Associates degree in technical area required; diversified work experience in an operational environment (manufacturing, warehouse, distribution or service).
High level of prior interaction with SAP experience, MS Office
Experience with electromechanical equipment repair. Developed proficiencies with related diagnostic troubleshooting tools.
Ability to work well with other people, including remote teams with a different focus within the larger scope of Philips’ business. Ability to lead others and drive the focus of customer needs.
Ability to adapt to change and challenge the status quo. Ability to provide thoughtful, reasoned explanations for improvement suggestions. A positive belief in the Kaizen process and Lean methodology. An increased ability to take on multiple tasks and drive them to completion.
